Generated Content: The articles you generate, including the prompts, selected templates, tones, and the resulting article text.
Usage Data: Information about how you use the service, including your subscription tier, article generation counts, and feature usage.
Payment Information: If you subscribe to our Pro tier, payment processing is handled entirely by our billing provider (Polar). We do not store your credit card or payment details directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Mitigate Management service.
Process your article generation requests by sending prompts to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate content.
Manage your account, subscription, and billing through our payment provider (Polar).
Enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier (e.g., 5 articles per month for free tier users).
Communicate with you about service updates or account issues.

3. Third-Party Services

Mitigate Management relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy governing their use of data:

OpenAI: We send your article prompts and selected parameters to OpenAI's API to generate article content. OpenAI processes this data according to their privacy policy and data usage terms.
Polar: Handles all payment processing and subscription management for Pro tier users.
Supabase: Provides our database hosting, user authentication, and backend infrastructure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share data with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Public Articles

Important: When you publish an article and mark it as public, that article becomes accessible to anyone with the link. Public articles are viewable without authentication. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to make public and how you share it. Mitigate Management is not responsible for any consequences that arise from sharing AI-generated satirical or serious content with others.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your generated articles at any time from your dashboard. Deleted articles are permanently removed from our database. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at legal@mitigatemanagement.com.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

8. Satire & Content Disclaimer

Mitigate Management is a platform designed for entertainment and satirical purposes. Articles generated through our service — whether using the “satire” or “serious” tone setting — are produced by artificial intelligence and should not be treated as factual reporting, professional advice, or genuine journalism.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. Users who share generated articles with management teams, colleagues, or any other parties do so entirely at their own risk.

Mitigate Management assumes no responsibility or liability for how generated content is used, interpreted, or distributed by users or any third parties who receive it.
